In these economic times, if you find yourself with a suffering credit situation, you are not alone.  And this has forced many people to end up renting a home, thinking that they cannot buy a home.

If you find yourself in this situation, don’t fret, as I can show you how to buy your own home, fix your credit and stop throwing your money down the drain by paying rent.  Most buyers have never heard of rent to own homes.  This is often the best way for many to buy a home and build equity.  Let me show you how it works.

The best way to get started is to contact a company that specializes in the rent to own process.  These companies are usually not realtors.  But they often either have a list of available homes or can even take your wishes and go find a home for you. Look for companies that will work with you to get qualified for a mortgage by helping you improve your credit score. Don’t work with someone who just wants to take your money without assisting you in actually buying the home.

Once you have found a company you feel comfortable with and have found a home that you like, you first pay a nonrefundable option fee that will be applied to the final purchase price of the home. You then rent the home for a year or two, while you work with your rent-to-own company to improve your credit and get approved for a mortgage to buy the home.

Just note that it is important to work with a rent-to-own company has relationships with a large number of banks and mortgage companie so you have the best programs and more options available to you.

As soon as you get your mortgage approval while working with your rent-own-company you can, you can then buy the home at the previously agreed upon price.  You now own your home, you have improved your credit and have had help getting there.  And you got to move a lot sooner.

As you can see, a rent-to-own arrangement is perfect for people with less than perfect credit who want to stop throwing their money away month after month by renting an apartment or house, and start building equity by purchasing a home of their own.

If you are a groom who has no idea what to get your groomsmen, you are not alone. Plenty of grooms are having problems looking for possible gifts that they can give to their groomsmen. They want something functional yet something that would still show that they have given a lot of thought about their friend.

Throughout the decades, engraved silver plated cufflinks have always been one of the most classic and most popular gifts for groomsmen. They are very fashionable and your friends would be able to wear these engraved silver plated cufflinks even after your wedding ceremony has concluded.

Engraved sterling silver plated wedding cufflinks have always been a sophisticated present and you could present them to your groomsmen with pride. In fact, there are a lot of styles that you could choose from nowadays, and you would not even need to break the bank for they are quite affordable.

When my childhood friend had gotten married, he bought engraved silver plated cufflinks for each of his groomsmen. Since my brother was one of those groomsmen, I saw the engraved silver plated cufflinks that he received from our childhood friend. It was really pretty because it doubles as a locket where you can slip in pictures of your loved one. Now, my brother still uses those cufflinks and he has placed his girlfriend’s photos inside them.

As you can see, there many uses for these cufflinks.  Not only will they make your shirt look good, but they can remind you of family members and other loved ones as well.  And what man cannot used that?

It is that time in my life that I am thinking about retirement and where to relocate.

I am toggling back and forth with staying in the same area I live in now to be close to family and friends or move to a place with milder winters. A few weeks ago I visited a retirement community in my area and loved the layout and all the amenities. I was pretty sure I would mail in my application and deposit to get on their priority list.

Those thoughts only lasted a few days. Within a few days the weather changed to cold and damp and that triggered my memory about the reasons I should relocate to a warmer climate. My aching swollen knees. I have arthritis and the flare up is caused by dampness and cold. The summers here in the east are warm but humid and the swelling and pain flares up because of the humidity but I can escape the humidity into air conditioning. No matter what I ca not seem to escape the dampness in the fall and winter.

I found out recently massages and exercise seems to help but only for a short time. So once again New Mexico sounds really good. 350 days of sunshine in a dry climate sounds fantastic but I really will miss everyone here.

It is really disturbing to endure the effects of aging. I recall when I was younger how it bothered me to see someone close to me change dramatically with old age. I have very nice skin but even I can see an enormous change in my neck from aging. I observe those same looks of concern in my kids faces that I had as a young person watching a loved one age. I hope the concern is enough that they will come visit in New Mexico when I move.
