An increasing number of us are concerned with achieving skin that is soft and nourished and we are pushed to spend heavily to achieve this aim. However, if we dont understand how our skin cells works these costly cures and products could simply be masking the cause.

The surface area of our skin covers an amazing 21 square metres, which consists of over 300 million cells, and to keep healthy they need to be replenished with required vitamins and minerals. Dissimilar to many other organs in our body, skin does not get these nutrients directly from our blood, instead, the nutrients are absorbed from surrounding tissue.

This means that in order to have healthy looking skin we first need to ensure we have a healthy bloodstream. Unfortunately in today’s fast pace society this is not always possible as we find much less time available to us to make sure we eat the right. The government has recommended that we eat at least 5 helpings of fruit and vegetables per day. When was the last time you were able to eat at least five portions of fruit and five portions of veg in solitary day? So how can we ensure we provide our bodies and bloodstream with the vitamins and mierals it needs to achieve optimal health? A popular way is to add natural health supplements to our diet.

There are a vast array of health products available to purchase on the internet which can help us to increase the quantity of nutrients we consumetake in|absorb} on a daily basis and therefore soak into our blood. An example of this is, spirulina and wheatgrass capsules will provide great amounts of minerals, vitamins and essential acids needed to ensure healthy skin.

Wheatgrass has been heavily researched and has been proven to address a great quantity of internal and external ailments. Applied externally wheatgrass will be soaked into the skin, revitalizing and nourishing the outer layers while taken internally it can aid in restoring diseased cells and improve blood flow.

So remember the next time you are considering buying a beauty product whether it is truly giving your skin what it needs or simply hiding the issue and ask whether increasing the level of nutrients in your blood supply can really achieve better results.

Working from home is becoming more and more popular. I work from home and I adore it. I don’t think I could ever toil at a salon again, but I must face the possibility that I may have to move my business into business premises if it keeps growing like it has in the last few years. Even if parts of my enterprise move out of home, I’ll try to stay there myself as much as I can.

Times are changing and working from home, particularly for the self-employed or contract workers is becoming more common. It is pointless paying rent for business premises if it isn’t necessary. Working from home has many perks.

You can work back late without getting into strife with your family. You can “drop into the office” anytime you like. You can get up really early if the mood takes you and put in a few hours work then go back to bed. But as a massage therapist, there is one feature I really like, all the tax deductions!

You can claim some of your household running expenses on your tax return. Based on the floor area used for business purposes, you can claim a portion of your mortgage interest, insurance, rates, water, electricity, maintenance and the bulk of your telephone bill as well as depreciation on the carpets, curtains, computer equipment and so on. At the end of the financial year you will be surprised by the list of deductions.

You will also save on travel costs, wear and tear on your car and more importantly wear and tear on you, having not to deal with peak hour or public transport. Not to mention picking up approximately an extra one to two hours per day of work when you don’t have to travel.

There is a downside to working from home. The first problem is family distractions. Kids home from school at three o’clock, a friend at the front door, phone calls for other members of the family.

You also may not have the perfect workspace, or space may be limited. Work space is vitally important, you must have an area set aside purely for business, nothing else, just business. I have found that it’s best also if you can close the door on the weekends and at the end of the day so you can “leave work”.

I think many of the attitudes of people that working from home is “unprofessional” have lapsed into history. The number of major companies that allow their workers to work from home via the internet has increased dramatically in recent years. “Outsourcing” has become a commonly used term and this has brought about a spate of self-employed former employees, most of them working from home.

The other problem that many people working from home suffer is motivation and discipline. You must start work everyday just as you would if you were employed by someone else.

When you surf the net you will find a lot of articles about consumer rating for replacement windows but today I want to look at something different.

The first thing to do when you want to replace storm windows is to put together all the necessary tools. The first thing to make sure you have is the pliers, tempered glass that is measured, gloves, glazing compound, a putty knife, brush, safety goggles and a trash container for the glass that can be thrown away.

The first thing to do is to remove the caulking. You can use a putty knife or any flat instrument for this. Make sure that glazer points are saved -if there are any that need saving. Take the pliers and remove the glass while wearing the goggles and gloves. Remove the chips or slivers that come up. Carefully measure the space you will put the new glass into. You should measure all the sides i.e. the top and bottom and the left and right sides.

There is always a space left for fitting in the window. That is exactly the part to be measured. You need to be careful when taking your measurement as the glass shouldn’t be too tight nor too loose. Give a 1/8 inch allowance on either the top or bottom and on one side. Once you’ve done that then try and fit the glass into the frame - do not rush this process.

If the window has glazier points replace them. Take the glazing compound, if it is on the dry side, roll it around in your bare hand to soften it; If you are using a fresh one then there is no need to soften it.

The next step is about spreading the glazing compound. Take it and spread it around the window with the putty knife. Make sure it is sealed neatly into the wooden frame or metal one - depending on which one you have. Using the putty knife cover all sides, get enough in the corners. Make sure there isn’t any caulking showing when viewing from the other side. Clean the calking spill the next day and leave set a week to paint.

By the way if you find this to be a bit over the top just find replacement window contractors to help you.

As you can see replacing broken storm windows is not that bad. Just make sure that you have the right tools and information specific to your own house design. It is also important to read about who makes the best replacement windows.

Some people have been scammed while searching for windows information - so do becareful. Search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN/Live offer very good search results - so do consider using any of them if you are looking for more information about this topic.
